Stress Out
This week, Pastor Justin preached a message titled “Stress Out.” The message focused on how to overcome stress, manage the pressures of life, and avoid unnecessary stress before it begins to control our thoughts, emotions, and decisions.
Stress may be common, but God never intended for His children to live constantly overwhelmed. We cannot always control what happens around us, but we can choose what we carry and where we take our burdens.
The message reminded us that stress grows when we try to control everything, but peace grows when we surrender everything to God. Prayer should become our first response instead of our last resort. Gratitude helps us remember God’s faithfulness. Healthy thought patterns protect our peace. Rest is not a sign of weakness; it is a biblical principle. Most importantly, God offers us peace even when our circumstances have not changed yet.
