Look Up Look Down

This week at Turning Point, Pastor Justin preached a message titled “Look Up. Look Down. Remember.” centered around the life of Abraham and the promises of God.

In Genesis 15, God told Abraham to look up at the stars as a reminder that God would fulfill His promise. Then in Genesis 22, after years of waiting, testing, and trusting, God told Abraham his descendants would also be like the sand on the seashore.

The message reminded us that God leaves reminders of His promises in every season of life. Sometimes we need to look up in faith and hope. Other times, when life feels low and we are walking through valleys, we need to look down and remember God is still faithful there too.
